Teaching

The teaching pages provide links to information and materials on my chemistry courses. Please use the links on the left or the quick links to other important information pages on the right. Most pages except for those providing information on courses within the bilingual master program in chemistry are in German.

Evaluation

The evaluation of chemistry courses is done electronically on the net. To evaluate one of my courses, you will need a token. Then follow the "Evaluierungen" link on the left. Enter your token in the online form and you will directly be transferred to the right evaluation page. Please make use of this opportunity - there is always room for improvement of lecture courses, seminars, and excercises. The clearer and more detailed your comments are, the easier it is to improve!

Erasmus Program

Prof. Schalley has been coordinating the Erasmus program at the Insitute of Chemistry and Biochemistry until the end of the winter term 07/08. Basic information on applications and the necessary forms can be found on the FU servers. Please follow the link on the right for general information and the link on the left for more specific information on the chemistry Erasmus exchange contacts.

Please note: By the end of the winter term 2007/2008, Prof. Beate Koksch has taken over the coordination of the Erasmus program.

Examination Board

Students who would like to have courses approved by the examination board are asked to file a formal request with Prof. Jörn Manz (Physical Chemistry), who heads the examination board. I represent Organic Chemistry in the board and will suggest decisions on approval of OC courses to the board which will make a final decision. For more information, please follow the link on the right.

Consultation hours: Wednesdays 8:30 - 9:30

eigentlich eine wöchentliche Kolumne für Ingenieure in den VDI-Nachrichten, aber auch für angehende Chemiker sehr empfehlenswert
also: einfach einmal ein paar Datenbank-Einträge ausprobieren und genießen!
